Funnily enough, I wasn't. Coincidence? I think not.

Me too. I've spent 100% of my life outside of Harvard.
I think I remember seeing you there.

sorry, brett, your poll is lame
Racists? and Oppressed Minority? are not the only possibilities, so you should have a Neither of the Above option
the way i heard the story unfold, the professor was a huge prick and had only himself to blame for getting arrested after verbally abusing the cop
conan o'brien reported that obama had invited bofadem over to the white house for a couple beers, which might not be a good move... as the last time obama had beer at the white house, he ended up buying general motors

Whoa, whoa, whoa, Rudy. Back off.
Our Government. Our politicians. You don't hear us ragging about Canadian politics, do you?
Wait....you guys do have a government, right? With elections and stuff? I keep forgetting whether or not you have a queen or something, or borrow somebody else's royalty, or whatever.
We like your comedians though. Keep 'em comin'.

To be fair there aren't enough options for me over here in the UK either. I'd love to see a few shoot on site policies for burglars. If we manage to accidentally pop a few politicians or their friends in the process then I guess that's a price we'll just have to pay.

the whole situation is asinine and not worthy of discussion. $100 says there was some elements of racism on both sides but if I wasted my time giving a sh*t about the worthless opinions of worthless people, I would have no time for anythintg else.
Is Gates a prick? probably, but having had Detective Greene of the Fairfax County police harass me, my friends and family for over 2 years without a successfull conviction in the 90s, I know that cops can be evil scumbags too. They raided my house. They followed me around and searched our cars. Beat me up. Etc... You name it.

Hell, why restrict it to just burglars and politicians - why not have one day a year where you can just go out and shoot anyone you please. Sure it might get a bit messy for the first few years but things would soon even out. I remember a rather eventful night camping in what I thought was an empty forest - at the close of the night, my new best friend with the machine gun said to me "an armed society is a polite society" - he'd certainly proved his point.
