Firefox without much plugins

I've been using FireFox since 1.0 days, and I still use the latest 3.6 with adblock and flashblock. Never looked back. Though chrome seems to be the talk of the town everywhere, I'm still not a convert

For desktop, I bounce back and forth between FF and Chrome. Overall, I use Chrome for speed, Firefox for functionality. Both are good browsers. Though I admit, that Google's development direction lately has puzzled me. Why it took until version three to integrate bookmarks was beyond me, and even then, it's still a horrible implementation of it. (By my standards, anyway.)

Now if mobile is your thing, I'd go Opera. Auto-magic bookmark sync between desktop and phone, the caching mechanism is pretty sweet, and the experience is good, even on low end phones.

Google Chrome all the way - with only one extension on (AdBlocker)

I've found Firefox too laggy and as for Internet Explorer, well I think the words I'd use for that would get me banned from here.

I'm completely ambivalent about the browser itself. I lean heavily on Firefox for the development tools (I'm looking at you Web Developer Toolbar, Firebug and IETab).

That said, I wouldn't hesitate to switch browsers for a second if more useful tools were developed for other platforms.

I've enjoyed Firefox, but my brother is swearing by chrome. I'll probably make the switch at home, but work is a little bit prohibitive when it comes to new technologies.

I use and love Chrome.
I came from FF with cool add ons..
And now that I'm on Chrome, I wouldn't even think of going back to FF.
Chrome has just as many amazing add ons, and it's extremely light and fast.

Chrome FTW. It has the smallest footprint and is by far the fastest browser on the market at the moment.

The optional ones? Absolutely not.

The single remaining non-optional usage tracking mechanism (which you can read about here) - not really
