absolutely... what did you guys talk about?

i would feel extremely intimidated in the presence of someone like that

(someone like smullyan, not blindman -- i'd feel only partially intimidated near blindman, aware that i couldn't match him in chess or sql server internals, but confident i could take him on in many other arenas)

How about "The Yak-a-torium" (or some variation on the theme)?

Honestly, he bored us with rather stale magic tricks.

I am much more intimidating, and I'm better at slight of hand as well.

Ironically, he asked us our opinion on his magic tricks, and half of us at the table were habitual liars while the other half always told the truth......

There is a catch phrase used on one of ESPN Football shows. They use it to show ridiculous and funny plays. The phrase is "Come on man!" .. we should name the next thread something to that effect since we always have to do that when the forum becomes ridiculously dicky (as poots, I think, put it).

US Citizen and Immigration Services makes me nervous. I submitted a pile of paperwork two weeks ago, and it found its way into the system and *knock on wood* everything seems to be doing OK and going as expected. How scary is that?

I must admit I prefer "Yak Corral XI" (or VIIIIII for Poots). It just seems to loose it's sense of continuity when it's called something totally different.

sorry, mike, but i don't particularly like having a "sense of continuity" with a bunch of cranky old geezers at sqlteam.com
