I often wonder about that too. But then I remember women, booze and weed .. those make life worth all the pain that one might encounter.

Is starting a new Yak Corral in my absence the forum-equivalent of moving without leaving a forwarding address?
Yes Rudy, I was gone...
Five days of caving, tandem biking (purchased Saturday for a grand even), and tent-based carnality. Woo-double-hoo!

I am glad you are having such a good time. This internet dating is starting to make me feel like a dirty whore. single women in their 30s are crazy.

you are right. everyone is crazy. just the dangerous don't know it, this is my last month doing this internet dating thing. I accidentally auto-renewed. cosmic justice for auto-renewing others I guess. I have another one inbound on my neighborhood tonight. There are no nice girls left in the world. More dinner, chit-chat and gymnastics.

Poots - please tell us you're not a single woman in her 30s (denial is usually the first sign of acceptance). But if you are, there seem to be some eligible men on this thread alone who may want to hook up! Weed and booze a-plenty at last read!

Nature makes them that way. If they weren't crazy, why would they be dating us?

Don't be such a pessimist. Go out on the dates to have fun and enjoy conversing with someone new. If something develops, great. If not, you had a good time anyway.
I never did the "fifteen minute meet for coffee dates". I always did dinner, or some event, and spent an hour or two with each person. I wasn't interested in anybody who was just going to make a snap decision about whether they would want to go out with me again, and i wasn't going to do the shotgun approach myself. Longer, more formal dates made me selective about who I was going to meet.
