Green has blamed the ball. He said something like it was 4 inches away from where he expected it to be and he is not such a bad keeper to make that sort of misjudgement. In every replay I saw though the ball looked true and straight.
I am 74.3% sure all the Germans ply their trade in the Bundersliega.
I think the English are professional, prepared and reasonably skilful (not to the standards of the better nations of course). Why do you think they are neither prepared nor professional?

I haven't done so, but I see no reason why it shouldn't be able to out of the box. The newer versions of Android ship with a Corporate Calendar/Email/Contacts applications for that very purpose.

Dear Lord - I've just been informed of the existence of an abomination to man, God and all things holy (and unholy).
It's called a minimiser bra. Yes - you can imagine what it does.

Please could someone check this is real and not someone playing a cruel trick on me? I'm too distressed to Google (plus I'm in work)

Is it meant to be worn by women, or by men?

Incredible. Who would have thought there would be a market for stingy midget containment systems?

that's a very common and typical canadian remark, probably best popularized by don cherry (please do check out that link), expressing admiration for something accomplished well... your definition is definitely worthy of canonization as an acronym (SMCS)... and i'm not just saying that because the stupid forum software told me to lengthen my message

Professional footallers should be able to cope with a new ball. They trained before the world cup and there were no restrictions on what ball they were allowed to use during training so one would assume that they are using the official match ball then. Quit your moaning England - a bad workman blames their tools.

I feel like quitting today - stupid work.

Don't feel bad poots, lots of Brits talk funny. We're used to it, and would be glad to help you with your English if you think that will help.

we would probably associate "beauty" more with the Ozzies. Perhaps more specifically "you beauty".

But Rudy - canonization - how could you?

@GVee - but it's not just the English footballers. And I still don't get how being a professional should mean they can cope with the ball. Surely being highly tuned technicians should make them more sensitive to small changes rather than less. There is little difference in my abilities whether I play with a casey, basketball or beach ball but that's because I am hopeless (no knees you see).

oh yeah, i see now how i erred

blame my enthusiasm for teddy's lovely rejoinder, the interpretation of the phrase minimiser bra

of course, the correct interpretation is MSCS, not SMCS

sorry, eh

When I have a functioning set of ankles I play football 2-4 times a week. Each time I play with a different football. I might complain about small or large differences from time to time, but I tend to cope well enough after a few minutes practice regardless.

If my petty skills can manage it, I'm sure there's can too.

It appears they can't George - it doesn't matter how sure you are.
Are you going seriously weighing your personal experience kicking about with your mates favourably against the testimonies of many of the planet's best footballers? Are you saying that if you could do what most of the top 500 players in the world cannot?
