Oddly I never used to argue with my old girlfriends - I just figured that perhaps we weren't suited and found another. This meant girlfriends might change every 3 months but I always felt happy. This all changed big time when I got married and I found it difficult working out how to react - I just wasn't used to heated arguments at all. At best I just look quizzically on, at worst I offer a few home truths in return.

PS This business with entering the random words to be able to post is a bit tough - I don't recognise half the words (are they random jumbles of letters) and then they use an impossible font and pile the letters on top of each other. By the time I've deciphered the words I've forgotten what I was going to say.

... you'd think they'd just do each other a favour and split though for the record I think I sided with her more often than him.

PS for a while I couldn't reply - the captcha thing was asking me to enter words with umlauts (vowels with 2 dots above them which is quite common in German). I suspect my keyboard doesn't do these and even if it did I wouldn't have a clue how. What on earth is wrong with one simple word chosen at random from an English dictionary?

i prefer the hot headed angry women with all of the fire and passion in their bellies and the ones tough, mean and angry enough to take a swing at you.

... you'd love my wife then - I wear a cricket box and a gum shield every time I come in through the door.

PS now we have to enter new words every time we hit preview!

Having had experience with both extremes, I concurr. Patricia is currently hurting with back pain that was initiated by a cortisone shot in her spinal column. Designed to curtail her 10-years-plus leg pain due to (as we know NOW) a tweaked nerve in her lower back. All that aside, Paul is paying for her pain via dealing with a short temper. That on top of the "visitor" this month. I am a dead man walking, I fear.

All that aside, however, I am compelled to say that I would NEVER trade in the verbal arguments for the silence of the previous spouse. I would rather fight it out in fisticuffs than watch it die in silence.

I just put my lineup into my two Yahoo! Sports fantasy football league teams not even an hour ago. Not realy happy with my auto-draft team, but hey, that's what happens in an auto-draft, eh?

AND I get to take my Jack Ham #59 jersey out of the closet this weekend! Yay!!!
Go Steelers!!!
