I got nothin' from this link...except a cool little fortunecity logo in the upper left corner of my screen. Was it reading my mind or stealing my thoughts?

You may need to turn your sound up, to drown out the spammers.

Yeah it's getting a little nuts. We've been asking for simple measures to cut the noise for months. Apparantly the answer is "no".

35 spam posts and 2 non-spam posts on this page, not including this one. So far...

I guess we really did not notice the junk spam over Pootle's special brand of spam ;-)

All I have to say is "Steeler Dynasty"!!!!!!

I see that Green Bay is picked by Las Vegas bookies as the favorite.

Yeah.

Right.

Bite me, cheeseheads.

I slept for 20 hours yesterday and could easily go back to bed until the dogwoods and cherry blossoms start blooming. I even fell asleep during the steelers vs jets game. Hibernation.

Woke up monday and I could not see straight. I need to reininstute my perssonal sabbath on Sundays and tell everyone to leave me alone or there is just no time to rest.

So I do not get it. Pootle is gone (not sure why), but he still lurks.

I slept about 5 minutes last night. Gotta be out of our rental house by the end of February and I don't see many reasonably-priced replacements at the moment. I REALLY don't want to go back to an apartment.

I have'nt seen any spam today. I think they are afraid of me, but I am used to that. I am going home for a disco nap. 8:30 deployment tonight and I have to be in annapolis for a meeting at 8am. Good thing I slept yesterday. I might have mono again.

FAIL

I had a deployment start throwing deadlocks all over the place tonight due to jobs only running in prod. Systems guys killed the deployment in process. The rollback script assumed that the full deployment ran. so that failed. I just spent 3 hours putting humpty back together again. 3rd worst deployment in 10 years.

wish it was the case that
A) there was no spam yesterday
B) what spammeres there were, were truly afraid of you

can't answer for the scumbags as to whether they are afraid of you or not. But the mods are trying hard to boot the little feckers into oblivion. It still irks me that we have trackbacks which seem to have been subverted from the original idea to become a spammers delight

Fail-safe systems fail by failing to fail safely.
