DB2 vs Oracle Carreer along with SAP

Dear All;

I am new member to DB forum. All my previous experience (9 yr) is with Java SE & EE based development. Now I moved to SAP BASIS Administration. My Job responsibility include (DB (DB2), OS (AIX)) up to moderate level and SAP Application Administration @ expert level.

I am successfully fulfilling the requirement of my job but now I want to go for certifications.

For DB I have 2 clear options

DB2 & Oracle

I need to know with consideration of salary and opportunity in market. What is the best option.

regards
Syed Saifuddin

My guess is that Oracle work would pay better, but just google for some average salary comparisons.
