Repeat disconection

Good afternoon,

i have windows 7 and i work with many DDBB (Oracle, PostGres, Teradata,...) If i open a conection by ODBC, and i don´t run a query in 2 seconds, lose the connection.

If I start with a query a after I pause of work 2 second, lost my connection.

Somebody can help me? It´s very hard reconnect all the time
