you?? you're fine, the "live streaming" spam isn't
by no means am i knowledgeable about spam, but i figure the longer spam remains visible on a forum site before being removed, the more it encourages them to spam that forum

which is fine and dandy
there's a limit what private individuals can do in moderation activity. I suspect there is a shortage of active mod's, and especially covering various time zones. last weekends spamfest was coming out of Asia, the scumbags / spambots were registering and posting almost as fast as moderators could react.

Well, for what it is worth, I think you guys kick ass at removing the spam. It is hardly ever there still by the time I log in and check the thread....

I wish someone would tell me I am fine. Preferably a lady.
Finally figured what crashed production yesterday. The team rewriting one of the apps I am responsible for commented 2 lines out of a where clause for no discrenable reason. Yes that is the house of cards I live in, and it was someone higher up on the food chain too with a much fancier job title...

To borrow/mangle a line from Mae West, "I'm no lady, but I think you are fine!"

I usually just say "$@#*&#$@@!%!!" and just carry on...but why split hairs? Unless we are splitting red cu** hairs...then I am in for the long haul.

People come to me for answers. I present the facts, and little else, to the concerned inquiring appropriate parties. No sugar coating. No politics. No whitewashing. I live in truth and seek the light and believe sunshine is the best dissinfectant for unhealthy situations. That is not to say that I do not spike the ball in the end zone on occassion, and I know that sometimes puts people off, but I can not help myself. I can be a jerkface. I don't care. I have accepted it.

I actually believe that the ability to excell at being a jerkface is becoming a lost art in the world of political correctness.
I also am pissed this morning because I stopped at In-N-Out for a couple of cheeseburgers this morning on the way to work and my damn boss called a meeting as soon as I got here. Cold or microwaved cheeseburgers for lunch.
I wonder if I can expense them?

Bah. You should have ate them in the meeting. Could have shortened the meeting time, if you get extra smelly, or loud food.

If it is a departmental\team meeting, I would eat. Meeting with some form of client or customer, probably not. Depending on the relationship. C-levels around, probably not.

Damn...it was just my team and the boss. Should have taken my cheeseburgers with onions in there and ate them during the meeting. My boss usually likes to have meetings during lunch time and at 6PM on Friday afternoons, so this one caught me off guard.
