Happy hour is friday and it looks like I am going to have that little young lady from the fifth floor in my face the whole time again. If she won't leave me alone again, I do not care what you guys says about girlz in the workplace, I am taking her back to the cave.

Hey guys, any idea where I'd post regards a Sage 200 system? I'm supposed to be helping a friends company with some reports but can't find too much info on the damn thing (what type of server? table structure? pricing tables? is there a reporting interface etc).

Is everyone well? Things very very, slow over here in the UK (for me anyway).

Sage 200 is a CRM system that works with MAS 90. If that's what you're looking at, the database engine is Microsoft SQL, and I think it is SQL 2005 Standard Edition but I'm not certain of that.

So all I need is just the login details to the database and I'm away? Is the table structure simple to work? do you know if there's a ER diagram on the web anywhere? Is there a way to add new reports into the system smoothly or would I just code up a new program to access it. I'll admit it's not my type of work but hey-ho.

How are things going by the way? Is everyone well? Any changes? Have Poots or George resurfaced?

Once upon a while ago I conjoured up a helpfile for the Sage 200 structure using SQL Spec. I don't think that I still have that file, and if I do it is on a DVD somewhere. If you don't know SQL Spec, you REALLY need to take an hour or two to play with it because the data dictionary help files it can build are worth Jezemine's weight in gold!

I'm still busier than the proverbial "one armed paper hanger, in a wind storm" between clients, family, etc.

George surfaces occasionally. He's apparently a busy, busy boy these days having a grand time with all of the loves in his life (one of which is almost entirely rebuilt now).

Poots doesn't love us anymore. I don't even get perverse emails from him these days!

Glen livet is my usual go-to. Not familiar with the 15 year french oak reserve... Sounds like it's worth seeking out.

It's pretty good. It is just a little more expensive than the standard 12 year old. I want to say it might be a tad smoother and sweeter. The only thing my brother in law ever gift eachother is liqour. Each christmas and birthday like clockwork.

George hit me up on fakebook the other month. I think the Flump is lost to us all and with them probably Healdem. No more transatlantic alliance.
