I am the 800lb Tech Support Gorilla with a misnomer job title of Senior Software Engineer. No promotion though and that is fine. I will take money in lieu of fame. I might not ever make Architect, but hell with it. The boss was like "if you want to take responsibility for longer term projects, there are people here that will let you do that", but the hell with it. I will be the lead banger on the Maintenance\Triage sqaud. Blood, guts, glory every week.

instead of

DIVIDE YEAR BY 4 GIVING LEAPYEAR REMAINDER LEAPYEAR
IF LEAPYEAR EQUAL 0 blah blah blah

eh. time is an illusion and i wish this week would just dissappear.
i have a vagrant on my couch. a big girl is expecting me to take her to b-more tomorrow for her birthday. i am not talking to my brother in law after a a little blow up we had. And then there is work...
