I am glad that I won't see Romney ever again in politics and because this crazy long campaign is finally over. One of the endless retarded comments coming from the "bullshit mountain" called foxnews last night: "Romney has run a classy campaign".

Meh.
There have certain been much worse Presidential campaigns.
Karl Rove wasn't tightly involved in this one, and he and his ilk have been primarily responsible for the Machiavellian muck that presidential politics has been in the past.

Not exactly like yesterday. There is more gay marriage, legal gambling and 2 states where cannabis is allegedly completely legal.

For the first time there are going to be legal card games in Maryland and one of the big casino chains (MGM maybe) is going to put a luxury casino just south of DC at National Harbor. Vegas on the Potomac.

Rhode Island had a couple of ballot questions on allowing "casino games" at a couple of (I think) dog racing tracks. The strange thing is they had separate questions for each of the two venues, so one venue may have gotten casino games, while the other might have lost out. Still, I suppose it is better than gambling on game company run by a guy with little to no business experience.

The short bus seems to drive around in circles... It stops by here pretty frequently.

I have enough people like that in my professional life at the moment. I do not need to come here for that kind of crap.

Hiatus time. I just submitted my resignation effective 01/02/2013. It's been a few years. I think I am going skiing and taking two/few months to do some stuff.

So this youngish "director" (big boy turned 30 last year I think) and I were talking about 2013. I tried to explain the reality of a certain situation to him. He got angry and accused me of making threats. Well southern gentlemen do not often make threats and if we do they are not idle. I emailed my resignation from my phone a minute later.

I am still trying to determine what threat I was making.

Sorry to hear about this clusterf***k at your work. I am sure you will find a better place once you decide to go back to this computer-related office-cube-sitting slow-soul-killing gig we call work.

It is my policy to only work in between breaks, and it is time for another break.

The little kid director sent me an email saying that he had not been angry with me after the old man VP of development from the early M$ days got wind of what happened. Now he did not apologize, because he denied all fault in himself because he has not reached that level of maturity to be able to see fault in himself.

I dunno. Using words like "threats" and "disappointment” and “find a more professional and productive way" all seemed pretty angry to me.

I am still leaving just as object lesson for junior. Fug'em.

I might go skiiing and take a few months off.

You will never find work in the industry again, and will end up cleaning bathroom stalls at Applebees.

OK, maybe I'm just feeling pessimistic today...

Heck. At least you didn't tell him he would have to go back to his old job, so how pessimistic can you be?
