I'll enjoy the Turkey tomorrow just as much as I did the one six weeks ago, and will enjoy the one about a month from now too. I leared long ago to be thankful every day, and that changed the way that I see and interact with the world.

At least they can't be repossessed.
Seriously though, my thoughts are with you. The holidays are a tough time to be looking for employment. Most companies put off hiring until Jan/Feb.
Maybe some independent contract consulting work for the time being?
Best of luck.

Paul, we should team up and start a new firm that specializes in unvoluntary asset liberation from institutions of misused finance.

so this little droogie with hardly a hair on his chin, or a scar on his face, from another team came over to my desk about some ticket his team opened or to just blow some hot air and give the appearance of work because he had nothing to say of any use to me. Then he offerend his assitence to me because he has been a dba before and he is a top notch problem solver. I wanted to wretch all over his fancy shoes, but I just gave him a little pat on his head, told him "that was nice" and sent him back to his playmates and told him to await UAT instructions.

It would be one thing if he was a cute chick, then I would get her all involved in the project
I might blow off the rest of this day and go play hookie with the woman. I figured out they are not going to pay me out on all of this PTO I have.
