Open Watcom graphics

I just downloaded and installed Open Watcom C/C++/Fortran.
A quick Hello World demonstrated that it's working.
Now I'd like to start a graphical game project.
Do any among you have any experience of initiating a graphical environment with Watcom C?
If some kind person could show me how to get into a 1024x768 x32 bit screen mode and put a coloured circle in the middle, that would be enough to get me started.
