In an Excel worksheet, I am not able to run an option button and think it may be connected to a problem in the formula bar.

I'm running the worksheet on both the Mac side and the PC side of my computer. On the Mac, I'm having a problem writing in the formula bar of Excel... =EMBED(Forms.OptionButton.1",""). On the PC, this formula appears in Excel when Option Buttons are dropped on the sheet , but in the same Excel worksheet on a Mac, the formula does not appear and I am not able to type it into the formula bar,without getting "NOT A VALID REFERNCE">

Any help will be be greatly appreciated.
