My Antivirus subscription ends tomorrow ....

Does this mean that the antivirus software on my machine will be disabled following this date or is it just I will not get new updates anymore ?

Any ideas ?

Its just the updates that stop.

Symantec does not stop you from getting new virus definitions. You can go to their web site and download the "Virus Definition" files. As the other person said, it's the live update that stops, but this also stops any software updates for the application. Check the cost for renewal, you'll find its very low, and well worth it.
