Admonistrator rights thru MS-DOS

My school has gotten all Nazi lately and has totally restricted everything on my laptop... I need to get everything back to normal... I've heard it is possible to create or gain acces to an adminstrator account thru MS-DOS. Or just to convert my account into an adminstrator account. Does anybody know to do that?? or even tell me if it is possible?
