How to print null or 0 or '' values in a matrix report

Hi,

Can anyone please give me a solution as how to print a null or 0 or '' value in a matrix report (Reports 6i-oracle).
I have made the property to 0 for 'Update if null', but still it did not work and also have done nvl and same it did not work ...
