.htpasswd

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has .htaccess files to protect a directory before. So far, I'm getting a login prompt, but the login fails every time.

I'm setting the .htpasswd file using the apache htpasswd utility.

I'm not sure if I'm getting the server path correctly. I've tried everything. Is there a way to know the server path through DOS/Windows? All the tutorials I've read is through UNIX pwd command.
