Server 2000

Hi,

Could anyone help with this.
I am running windows 2000 server with Veritas backup.
Sometime the server hung in the morning when I came in,
so I investigated into what has caused this, and it listed the problem
in the log, that sometime it couldn't backup the Systemstate, and caused the server to hang.

Does anyone knows why does it behave like this?
PLEASE HELP!!
