Nice forum, hope to find a lot of info here . I have been asked by a friend who knowns a couple of shops to create a application that will hold information on there stock and possible POS side as well. I have started to think of database design etc using MS Access but am not happy with the interface is there a better application/program to use to creating a professional program that will monitor stock flow etc for a buisness ??

Asking for development tool suggestions in a forum like this is roughly like walking into a bar and asking for drink suggestions!

You'll probably get more suggestions than there are people, and the reasoning behind all of them will go something like "Well, my tool is the best, of course!"
