What sort of records. Most people will have problems sending stuff out due to privacy issues.... but depending on what you want I might be able to fake a pile of data for you....

Performance testing, but you don't care if it's for mysql, access, or MSSQL? You'll have huge performance differences between Access and just about any other RDB...

Why can't you just loop through an INSERT several thousand times to create a table? You can add some logic into your loop to make them unique...

The type of data will also affect your performance testing. Also the structure of your data. If you have no desired structure, no target platform and no intended data content then your performance testing is a complete waste of time.

Please give me a ready made mysql script

Dear friends,

Thanks for your replies,

In my university they ask me to bring a mysql script to create tables and insert data into them. so if anyone of you have this script or have the script which creates the northwind tables so please give it to me.

This project is to let the students understand the difference between several database types and to see the performance.

if there is any free tool that converts the access db to a mysql script please inform me.

Thanks a lot

So how do you plan on learning to do this if the scripts are written for you?

What makes you think that hotbird is interested in this "learning" stuff? At least from what I can see, the only real interest is getting the assignment completed.

Talking Thanks friends

Dear Friends,
Thank you very much for your replies,
I already downloaded the airmen database it's a big db but it only contains one table.
Anyway it gave me a good experience as a first time running a large enaugh database.

if you have resources or pdf books to share with me about using ADO 2.6 or mastering ADO 2.6 I'll be thankful.

Regards,
HotBird
