I'm running a PDX 10 application under the runtime on XP Pro machines. The app mostly works OK but I get frequent GPFs. Even the full version of Paradox occasionally GPFs on startup.

Is there any general advice for running / tuning Paradox on XP? Should I be upgrading to the version that ships with Word Perfect Office 11 (since it was presumably built for XP)?

Are there still network file locking issues under XP?

Have you upgraded to Service Pack 3? If not, do it, but stay away of service pack 4; it made my pdox and runtime totally unstable.

You're running the app in networked environment? If yes, what's the structure of it?
