Missing Icons with Paradox 7.0 and XP

I have a client using runtime for Paradox 7.0 and the full version of Paradox 8.0 for their Report Writer. They have a program called Impact based on 7.0. They have all new PC's running XP Pro. The problem is a sporadic issue with disappearing icons. You can see them on some PC's but not on others. We have all the PC's icon properties set to NT (service pack 5) compatibility. Any ideas??
