application error starting paradox 9 in win2k pro
keep getting error -- the instruction at "0x77fcc2c0" refrenced memory at "0x0050005c". The memory could not be "written". --

any clues, I am trying to do a reinstall and see if that fixes the problem in the meantime

Are you on novell and is the database on the network. If so you may need a patch for the novel client for windows 2000.
