I need to able to produce and print barcodes from an application in Paradox 9 and also read them in to the application.. What is the best way to do this?

my apps have never needed this, but it's common everyday stuff that hasn't really changed since the DOS days.. if you post the question on the Paradox "community newsgroup" you'll get plenty of help.. see my Links page if you need a link..

there are several common barcode fonts..

a barcode reader (commonly called a "wedge") simply goes between the keyboard and the computer.. the app doesn't see a difference between you typing, and the scanner scanning.. the field gets filled in the same way..
