Hello Paradox Gurus,

I have a couple of linked tables using Paradox 9 and the Primary Key is CusNum. I need a spippet of code that will display a message, and prevent a user from entering a duplicate CusNum.

Paradox itself stops key violations when the records are posted, but adding a "next number" as your key field is a simple special process that should work off a "next number" table.. the clerk should NEVER do that manually..
