Paradox 9 compatibility?

I've tried installing P.9 on my laptop running XP, and it won't load - keeps giving me a bogus error message about not finding an entry point in a certain .dll file. I remember having similar problems sometimes when installing to Win NT, but I can't remember how I solved them...

I just wonder if there's a similar fix for XP.

As to the entry point error, delete the toolbar file(s) (pdx_en*.cfg). Also, try adding a -c to the icon or start menu item that you start Paradox from.
