Email address's are stored in alpha fields, with no editting on the field. this causes email software to be executed when the email address in the field is accessed. How can email address's be stored without this occurring? Any help will be appreciated.

Only way is to disable hyperlinks in Preferences.

For those fields that store e-mail addresses place the table/form in edit() mode on arrive; this disables the automatic action of opening e-mail client when user clicks on the field.
