Paradox 8 Migration...

I need to migrate an old system which uses Paradox 8 (including screens built using this) to Paradox 10.

I'm struggling to find any information on how I might be able to do this, and how painful it's likely to be.

Does anyone have any info, or point me in the direction where I might be able to get some info on this?

Thanks

Dave.

Nearly no pain!

Sure!

I've tried this before, and apart from some changes in the report printing methods, it has been only a matter of reloading and resaving the forms and the libs in the new version!

Feel free to ask me more if you need.

This is merely a ditto to Shores reply to emphasize that it is a transparent process. Update to 10 and open start using the database. This is not acess we are talking about. The tables themselves will not be upgraded unless it is necessary during a restructure because you add a feature that was previously unsupported. Otherwise its Smoooooooth.
