Wink DOS Paradox 4.0 & Printing in Windows XP

I have Paradox 4.0 applications that work well in XP but will not print to a Xerox XK50cx printer on a USB port. I'm looking for a way to acquire or redirect the LPT1 output to the USB printer. The printer doesn't seem to want to function with DOS even under a parallel connection. I've tried it with XP printing to an HP Officejet with a firewire copnnection and that works ok, just not a USB. There doesn't seem to be a way during the installation of the printer to tell it to accept output from a DOS application.

Ideas?

You can redirect the report output to a file, then use the RawPrint utility from microsoft to send the output file to a windows printer, making it become a standard Windows spooler print job.

Bye!
