Paradox 5 and XP Pro

The install worked fine, I am able to see my tables on the network, but am receiving the following error message -- "Not initialized for accessing network files". Any guidance would be appreciated.

Hve you set up your network options yet? You will need to use the bde configuration tool to do this. You might need to upgrade your version of bde depending upon the network OS and version you are using on as changes sense pdox 5 have created some incompatibilities. (Read Win2K and Win XP)

Simply start IDAPI Cofiguration Utility and fill the field NET DIR in it with some network path available for read/write for all Paradox users. That's all. Paradox 5 is ready for network use.

Also make sure that LOCAL SHARE = TRUE. This is especially important if the data being shared lives on a computer that also runs Paradox.
