Red face Issues when using CR XI R2 with VB.NET2005 on 64 bit Windows 7

Urgent help required........

I have a WinForm App made in VB.NET 2005 which connects to a Crystal Reports XI R2 server for viewing reports. The app was developed on 32 bit XP and works fine on 32 bit XP. When I try to run the app on 64 bit Windows 7 machine, I receive following error:

Either the Crystal Report Registry Key permissions are insufficient or the crystal reports runtime is not installed correctly.

Please instal the appropriate cystal report redistributable (CRRedist*.msi) containing the correct version of the crystal report runtime (x86, x64, itanium required).

I have installed CR XIR2 SP4 Full version + SP6 Incremental along with FP 6.4.
I have also installed CRRedist2005_X64.msi.

My crystal report server is a 32 bit windows 2003 server having CR XI R2.

Regards,

manishxe

Rebuild the application to target x64 in visual studio. You can choose the target platform in the configuration manager.
