Create tables at runtime

I am new to Crystal Reports and I want to create a report similar to ones that I have created in Oracle Reports (ver. 6.0). In these Oracle reports, I created reports that when clicked on, took date paratmeters and created a table, and then ran the report agasint that table. Can this be done in Crystal Reports as well?
