... and how do you acces it ?

man this is hard !
i have a file called dictionary.db [english to romanian dictionary], and i tought it was a paradox file [maybe it still is !]
the trouble is that i do not know how to acces it !

can enyone help ?

Who gave you the file? Where did the file come from? My guess would be that there is a specific application that is intended to use the file, and that will give you a lot more insight than just the file extension.

yeap there is an application that reads the fiel [writen in delphi]

but i would like to read the file without the application, so i can extract the data and convert it to mysql and put in on the web

I'm afraid you are beyond my ability to help. Paradox and Delphi are not my strong suit, although I know enough to be rather dangerous!
