Smile NSF's and NTF's

A notes database with the extension .ntf is usually a database template while .nsf is a standard application database although just to confuse things you can use a .nsf as a template if you put it in the right place. The file name and the name of the database as it appears in the list of databases when you open one in the Lotus Notes client can be entirely different.
