Help?? New guy... need some help.
|
|
This might sound kinda crazy but i'm sure a pro could do this in a matter of 20 minutes, if someone is willing to help me out I need help with the following project.
-Zip Williams
What I need is to normalize the following..
FIRE_REPORT(FireID,Alarms,Address,FiremanID,Firema nName,FiremanPhone,FiremanHomeStation,
StationAddress,StationPhone,TruckID,License,TruckH omeStation)
Some assumptions
Each fire can have several firefighters assigned to it
each fire can have several fire trucks assigned to it
each firefighter can be assigned to several fires
each firetruck can be assigned to several fires
each firefighter has a unique home station
Each fire truck has a unique home station
each station name is unique
each station has a unique phone number
-Write SQL create table statments for the normalization
-Write SQL statements to insert two records into each table (with made up data)
-Write SQL statements for the following..
*Display StationName and StationPhone for all stations located on BroadStreet
*Display FireID and adress for all 3,4,5 alarm fires
Display alarms and how many fires have been fought for each type of output
*Display FiremanID, FiremanHomeStation, and phone number of the station for all firefighters whose phone number has a 703 area code.
Add a column with the date of the fire to the appropriate relation. Then, insert the actual dates into your records.

Brilliant.
And now some jackass has quoted you in his own post, and there is no way you can edit the post and delete your e-mail. That must really suck.

Not to mention the amount of spam that'll be sent to that gmail address... I suspect it'll have to be closed in a couple of days and a new address set up.

I think your hilarious, not to mention how green with envy I get when I found out you are part of the Delaware Youth Chess Club. Be sure to be on time on for the next meeting. Pocket Protector optional.
The club meets every Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at the Delaware County District Library. Participation is free. Dont even have to pay for all that excitment.
