No idea...

Ok, someone mentioned to me something about "volumetrics". I understand the definition regarding databases but is there like some stupid easy calculation to use for it because I can't find ANYTHING, even through a google search.

Just tell him you have already applied the theories of volumetrics to your database by filling most of the tables with unneeded but fibrous data. This will flesh out your database so it appears fuller than it might otherwise be. Sure performance may be affected but your daily dumps will be bigger which should easily improve your standing within the company.

Perhaps you should counter by suggesting a "slim plan" for management?
