Red face Ms Access or Ms Excel

Hi
Pardon me with my broken english

I am a new users, I need your opinion, at the moment I been instructed by my boss to create FILING DATABASE SYSTEM. Please help me; which application is better? Either I should create using Ms Access or Ms Excel.

It’s really a huge data entry need to be done, the filing details from year 2000 till current year need to be computerized.

I am the beginner in Ms Access. I am afraid if there is an error if people using my system (create using Ms Access)

But if using Ms Excel, the datasheet looks messy.

Is there any ways to create Database using Excel design them as a form & command button.

The most important – the database is work properly to add/ filter /search for the data without error.

anyones...Please help with your experience opinion.

Thank you very much.

Access every time. Excel is for analysing and displaying data, not for data entry & storage.

Excel is not a database.
That is all you need to know in order to make your decision.
