I am coming up with a social networking website and I would like a person to select their area of specialization in the Industry. But if a person is a student then is it advisable to include "Student" as an option in the specialization list. Or do I allow a student to choose a specialization that is closely related to their area of study. For example if a student is studying to become an accountant then they can choose to select Accounting/Finance.
