Folder Permissions: Read/Write but Not Browse?

I don't know where else to put this topic but I hope I've chosen the right one. Anyways, I have a SQL Server db that stores the information for files. It contains the extension, file location, file name, etc.

The files are stored in a separate folder on the network drive. I want the users to be able to write/read files from the folder (using a front-end) but not be able to open windows explorer and browse through the folder. Is this possible?

Thanks!
