Hi

I have my product and material list all categorized and save in Excel and access database.

I can use access function to do some simple analysis.
I also have a ASPX which I use to do search across different files.

Right now, I am trying to save my database on a CD and do the same basic name and part number search on it.

but it is quite strange to use aspx on cd (besides that I don't know if it will create any issue)

Is there any other better solution for this application?

Why not save the information on a flash drive?

I think that would work too. and I would be able to modify data if I use a flash drive

Exactly. If you put it on a CD, you would only be able to read the database, not write, which would probably render useless.
