Recipe Database shopping list

I have a simple recipe database that I can enter recipes into etc...
but I want to be able to go to a form, enter the quantity of dishes that I want to prepare next week and print out a shopping list. I have been thinking about this for weeks and I have even mapped it out in the included jpeg attached.
Any ideas from you designers on how to make this less confusing?
