Customer Requirements

Hi

This may be the wrong place for this message but can any one suggest a resource for the type of questions to ask clients about what they want from the database. This seems fundamental to the design process. I've tried the search engines and even browsed some of this site but to no avail. Probably the wrong key words. So any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

I think it is sufficient to collect just the requirements. Once you transform the requirements into use cases and event flows the database naturally evolves from there. Here is an example:
