Question about SQL

What would be the best program to use with MS SQL for programing the font end of the database?
I have used Access the most, but also have experience with VB6, and C++. Which of these (or others) would work best with MS SQL.
There will be a bunch of calculations for every record that pretain to cutsheets for building custom products.

I would suggest marrying a MS front end to the MS SQL Server database. Perhaps Visual Basic .NET.
