Recommeded report & query tool

Please advise for the report and query application tool which is suitable with the database in AS/400. Is there any one better than Crystal Reports?

Thank you so much for the recommedation.

p.s. for the time being i use Access which consumes so much time when query the high volume of data, so i'm looking for a new one.

Crystal reports is the single most aggravating and uncooperative piece of software I have ever had to work with, hands down. It is nothing more than shareware masquerading as an Enterprise Solution. I would never recommend it to my worst enemies. The number of bugs and productivity drains in a product supposedly on it's eigth or ninth release is inexcusable. The only reason it survives is because of it's primacy into the marketplace.

Of course, that's just my epinion.

I found Crystal to be pretty good once I learned it a bit. I didn't come across any bugs.
