Unhappy 64 000 limit

Hi there everyone

I am aware of the 64000 limit in Analysis Services i.e that one parent can't have more than 64000 children.

However, I have a need for this. But what I want to do is the following. I want to count the number of children and display that value and not the "sum of the children". Is there a different set-up that can assit me in doing this.

If I do not add this column to my SQL table, all my dimensions work fine but as soon as I add this table with the more than 64000 children to one parent, all my dimensions gives me the error of to many children.

So, can anyone help me with this please and I'm rather desperate.

Regards

Granville
