Considerations while planning to increase Memory for BufferPools ?

OS390 V2.8

Hi ,
I have two doubts related to Bufferpool :
1) If I am planning to increase the BP size how should I confirm that I do not over allocate than the available memory so that DB2 subsystem will not go down. Would like to throw light on the memory(central storage-CS and Extended Storage-ES) concept it would be great ?

2) Can we have VP size greater that HP size ?
