sqlstate=S1010 [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Function sequence error updateblob
Hi, i encountered this error when trying to updateblob to db2 using powerbuilder 6.5. I've seen similar postings but never a clear answer. Pls help but pls do not suggest using a third party ODBC driver (unless it is free and not an evaluation copy). Thanks!

I would suggest you to take a cli trace to see why it happens ...

'tip of the month' section in www.db2click.com has info on enabling CLI trace

I would install the DB2 client and catalog the database with IBM ODBC driver using the Client Configuration Assistant. I am using PowerDesigner (same company as PowerBuilder) and it works fine on a remote database cataloged with IBM ODBC driver. You can test the IBM ODBC connection using the Client Configuration Assistant before you try it with PowerBuilder.
